The Solar Car BMS is thus far my most complicated board design yet, with over 300 parts it is responsible for monitoring the voltage and temperature of all 29 series battery modules, as well as monitoring the current leaving the pack. The BMS is also responsible for control of the high and low side contactors, and battery fans. Lastly the BMS transmits battery information to the rest of the car over the CAN Bus.
